Due to concerns over user conduct and the negative image this creates of the Wiring and the Regulations Forum and of the Institution, new threads repeating those that have recently been locked or removed will be removed immediately. Repeatedly doing so will lead to a ban. Regular users will be aware of which threads are being referred to.

As the host of this free forum, the IET has the right to remove any message on the forum. The relevant section of the Conditions of Use is quoted here:
This forum is owned and operated by the IET. Users take part in the discussions by permission of the IET. That permission may be withdrawn at any time, at the sole discretion of the IET, and without further justification being necessary. In particular, messages may be removed or accounts banned if, in the opinion of the moderators, this is in the best interests of technical and professional discussions in the forums.

This action is being taken reluctantly with the best interests of the forum as a whole in mind and is not open to discussion via any channel of communication.
