The IET has a range of plans in place to mitigate risks that may affect the running of the organisation, our events and venues. These are routinely reviewed and tested to ensure they are fit for purpose.
During the Covid19 pandemic, many of the functions of the IET have continued as our colleagues use technology to enable them to work from home. You can find out more about how we have continued to support our members and delivered our other activities on this web page.
Following the release of the UK Government’s guidance for people who run offices, which was issued on 11 May 2020, we have reviewed and updated procedures in place for how we can safely manage our head office so as to allow a degree of reopening while ensuring our colleagues stay as safe as possible. Initially, only staff who need to undertake critical roles from the building will be allowed into our Stevenage office.
