IET Venues - London, Glasgow, Birmingham

The IET owns three centrally-located conference and meetings venues in these major UK cities. Each venue features exceptionally well-appointed meeting spaces (including a large lecture theatre) with the latest audio-visual equipment along with all associated facilities. 


The IET's Global Engineering Hub in the heart of London, IET London: Savoy Place, has undergone a two-year refurbishment and is home to the IET's London-based activities. More information about the facilities and services available can be found on the IET London: Savoy Place website.


IET Glasgow: Teacher Building is an impressive, purpose-built conference centre in the heart of Glasgow, with 14 well equipped and extremely flexible suites.


IET Birmingham: Austin Court is an excellent meeting venue right in the heart of Birmingham, adjacent to the NIA and the ICC. 


The IET has a number of offices in the UK and world wide. Their aim is to promote the work of the IET around the world as well as providing facilities for members.

Most of the IET's staff are located 30 miles north of London, UK in Michael Faraday House, Stevenage.
