As the Events Sales Executive you will take ownership of a portfolio of events and work with marketing and production teams to successfully deliver in your role.
Support and develop a mixed portfolio of local and technical communities both online and with physical activities. Take responsibility for driving engagement with online communities using the IET’s Engineering Communities platform. Empower volunteers to develop, lead and promote thriving communities.
Working closely with the Marketing team and Communications team, this role will ensure that the IET’s marketing social media presence is effective, engaging and up-to-date.
Responsible for the creation and delivery of continuous learning and development of all individuals who contribute to the Professional Registration Process and associated activities.
To research and produce events within one or more sectors which not only contribute to the sharing of Science, Engineering and Technology knowledge amongst members and the wider engineering community but which are also commercially viable. Also to develop the IET’s events portfolio by generating new topics and by building new relationships with other professional bodies.
This is a key role within the IET working with the executive staff and high level volunteers to raise funds from corporates, foundations, and high net worth individuals.
To support the work of JPEL/64 by undertaking managerial and secretarial duties for that committee and its subsidiary Panels in the further development of BS 7671 in liaison with BSI and support the IETs charitable remit and enhance its standing in industry through the dissemination of information.
To carry out assigned editorial duties on the IET Research journals.
