Introduction

This is a new event in response to the announcement of zero stamp duty on zero carbon homes and the increasing demand for low and zero carbon buildings.

Key speakers:

Martin Wheatley, Programme Director, Environment and Planning, Local Government Association, UK
Dr David Strong, Chief Executive, Inbuilt Consulting Ltd, UK

Key benefits:

  • Provide delegates with an overview of current thinking in this sector, gaining an insight into policy implementation, emerging technologies, practical application and consumer benefits
  • Look into how we plan to achieve zero carbon homes by 2016, and question what policies will begin to deliver a zero carbon housing stock, and over what timescale.
  • Review and present novel engineering solutions to provide low and ultimately zero carbon buildings.

This seminar will provide delegates with the opportunity to:

  1. Be briefed on the current thinking in this sector
  2. Network with the people tasked with delivering low carbon buildings
  3. Debate future prospects in this area
