Arkwright Scholar mentors

The Arkwright Scholarships Trust, one of the IET’s Education Partners, identifies and nurtures future leaders in engineering and related areas of design.

Could you help nurture a future leader in engineering?

Arkwright’s Engineering Scholarships support high-calibre, engineering-minded students over two years, as they study for their A levels/Scottish Highers.

Mentoring an Arkwright Scholar

Engineers are needed to support and guide an outstanding, engineering-minded 17/18 year old during a critical time in their education. Mentoring can take many forms – Arkwright Scholars welcome advice through e-mail or occasional telephone calls as much as regular face-to-face meetings. The only mandatory requirement is that all mentors must be CRB checked, which is easily achieved by registering as a STEMNET Ambassador.

If you are interested in exploring mentoring opportunities please contact Karen Down in the Arkwright team: 01926 333210 or kdown@arkwright.org.uk.
