Meet the members - Volunteers

There are many ways you can get involved with the IET. A few of our volunteers share their experiences...

Janice Man

Volunteering gave Janice Man the chance to exercise leadership and managerial skills, plus meeting with global professionals allowed her to learn more about other cultures, supporting her own career moves.

Tim Kerby

As chairman of the Scotland South East Young Professionals and a member of the IET Council, Tim is able to engage with the IET’s younger membership and bring their issues to the attention of its top-level advisory body.

R Jananthan

R. Jananthan has worked as an IET volunteer at local, regional and international levels. He is passionate about giving back to society and sees this work as part of his professional development.

Stan Jones

Volunteering for the IET aided Stan’s professional development throughout his entire career.

Tim Heywood

A keen volunteer throughout his local community, Tim Heywood gets a kick from his efforts directly affecting those he volunteers for. He believes his involvement allows him to stretch his capabilities and keeps him driven.
