As a volunteer, you will want to keep yourself up-to-speed and there are a number of ways you can stay informed about the latest developments within the IET.
The IET communicates regularly with its volunteers and members in a range of ways and on a number of different topics. See our spreadsheet below for more details on the specific channels and content available to you.

Our quarterly email bulletin will highlight important information that affects you in your role as an IET volunteer. Sent directly to your inbox, Volunteer Update acts as a ‘digest’, identifying important news and updates and, when applicable, directing you to further information.
Produced quarterly, Member News covers every aspect of the IET's activities in member interviews, features, news stories, opinion pieces and event reports, in print and online.
The magazine aims to showcase IET activities, profile important member achievements, promote and support volunteering activities and much more.
Members are encouraged to submit ideas and content for the magazine via email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Any articles or quotes published will need to be supported by a completed Editorial Consent Form.
Engineering Communities is the IET's online collaboration platform for engineers and technicians, enabling you to join communities, interact with fellow professionals, keep up-to-date with what’s happening in your geographical area or subject of interest and create content to share with your peers.
