The IET’s Technical and Professional Networks (TPN's) are specialised communities, allowing engineering and technology professionals, academics and students to come together and discuss the latest developments, keep up-to-date with innovation and network with leaders in your respective fields of interest.

In short, TPN's help you gain access to a wealth of science, engineering and technology information to help further your studies.  What’s more they are free to join and you don’t even need to be a member of the IET.
