About this event
Smart metering is a technological development that has the prospect of changing the manner in which many of the energy supply activities are managed. It could also be used to further wider government policy objectives such as helping to reduce CO2 emissions, encourage energy efficiency and assist the fuel poor. However, there are many barriers to adopting the technology which need to be understood and addressed.
