View the UK Power Networks case study to learn more about their "Energy Storage System (ESS)" technology.
| Providing power to a quarter of the UK’s population through its electricity distribution networks, UK Power Networks is responsible for delivering safe, secure and sustainable power supply to eight million homes and businesses across the country. UK Power Networks commissioned a pilot project which culminated in a new kind of technology that could harness power from local wind turbines and store it, to be used in the electricity distribution network when required.
