CIBSE Lift Group Technical Visit to the Arts Tower Paternoster Lift, University of Sheffield

A paternoster lift has a series of open compartments which move slowly in a loop up and down the building without stopping.  Following the refurbishment of this lift, the CIBSE Lifts Group organised a visit and presentations from the project stakeholders.

IET – CIBSE Lifts technologies - new standards for 2012

The new standards prepared by CIBSE in lifts, escalators, horizontal walkways and lifting platforms captured by the IET and delivered by the authors of the standards.
