On 9 April 2014, The Built Environment Sector organised the IET Built Environment Lighting Summit to present the IET’s new LED Code of Practice.
Speakers traversed the common myths of LEDs, revealing that technology developments mean certain LED bulbs can be dimmed. They spoke of the development of new colour metrics and of the important role of lighting controls in ‘adding real value' in terms of function and enjoyment.
The IET and the Electronics, Sensors, Photonics Knowledge Transfer Network (ESP KTN) collaborated and brought together leading experts to discuss the current landscape, future opportunities for efficient systems integration and key priorities which were addressed by transport stakeholders at a recent roundtable event.
Outcomes from the discussion are highlighted in this insight with recommendations on the next steps. Download the insight to find out more…
