Inspec pay-as-you-go searching
For those who do not need unlimited searching, pay-as-you-go access is available through Inspec vendors.
Online searching
A number of organisations offer online search access on a pay-as-you-go basis. In addition to Inspec, each offers a wide range of other databases covering many subject areas, with basic and advanced search options, weekly or monthly alert facilities and the ability to cross search several databases together.
Online host systems offering pay-as-you-go access to Inspec include:

- EINS (European Information Network Services, formerly ESA-IRS)
- Fiz Technik
- Questel
- STN
