Inspec Current Awareness through email alerts
Inspec Current Awareness is a weekly email updating service designed to provide subscribers with the most up-to-date profiles in their chosen subject areas. These products offer flexibility in delivery and the ability to test profiles before buying.
Email Alerts
Inspec Current Awareness is available in three forms of email alert. It is also available in print in the form of the Key Abstracts journal series.
Inspec Alerts
Standard profiles covering narrow topics, such as nanobiotechnology, website design, 3G and 4G mobile communications, renewable energy, and photonic crystals. Alerts generally produce between 5 and 50 records per week.
Inspec Custom Alerts
Customer-specifies alerts which can be specified at any time. Once written, the profile may be checked by running a search against a test dataset. There is an upper limit of 100 records per week.
Inspec Subject Updates
Encompassing broader subjects, with categorised results presented under chapter headings for easy viewing. Updates generally produce 50 - 200 records per week.

For each of the three types of alert, you can select the delivery method to meet your needs:
- Email notification , with a personal web page where full records can be viewed.
- Email containing a list of titles, with links to the full Inspec records on the personal web page.
- Either of the above with an attached PDF containing the full Inspec records
