My earlier background was in marine electronics, before becoming Head of Department (Technology and Design) in a large comprehensive school.

I am currently a Senior Lecturer at St. Mary’s University College, Belfast, where I have responsibility for technology and design in the main BEd (secondary) programme.

In addition I have responsibility for the development of a Key Skills programme at St. Mary’s.
