In the spotlight
- Transforming Engineering Education
Diplomas are new qualifications for 14 – 19 year olds, to be studied alongside other qualifications such as GCSEs and A-Levels. The Engineering Diploma was one of the first five Diplomas to be introduced from September 2008.
The Engineering Diploma was developed with significant input from employers and the curriculum ensures that students develop engineering skills, literacy and numeracy, and ‘employability skills’ such as team work.
