Description
Consultation on changes to the Building Regulations in England – Section three Part P (Electrical safety – dwellings): IET comments to the Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG).
Abstract
The IET response supported the proposed amendments to Part P except for those dwelling areas which fell within Part 7 of BS 7671, or to do so would weaken circuit protection and/ or safety. The correct referencing of applicable standards was emphasised.
