Midlands Manufacturing Group
The Midlands Manufacturing Group is a specialist Manufacturing section of The IET in the UK Midlands region. Its purpose is to allow members interested in Manufacturing subjects to meet with each other and share in new developments in technology and manufacturing methodologies and to discuss the challenges and opportunities that the sector faces.
The Midlands Manufacturing Group have a regional reach across the Midlands and cover IET Branches in Coventry and Warwickshire, Birmingham, Hereford & Worcester, North West Midlands, East Midlands and Shropshire.
The MMG works closely with the Manufacturing Professional Network, special interest groups and other engineering institutions. Both the IMechE and IIE are represented at our meetings. The Group organises a selection of high quality, high profile and prestigious events with the Sir Alan Veale Lecture being the highlight of the year. All lectures are normally open to visitors and admission is free.
