Apprentices completing an IET approved apprenticeship are eligible to apply for ICT Technician (ICTTech) and TMIET via a streamlined route.
You are eligible to apply under this scheme if you have successfully completed an IET approved apprenticeship scheme. Please check the full list of approved apprenticeship scheme providers before applying through this route. Please note that you must have completed an approved pathway (completed certain modules within your apprenticeship) in order to qualify. This will be assessed once we have received your application.

They will consider whether you have met the terms of the scheme and are eligible for registration. You will be advised if any further information is needed.
The application process includes peer assessment by registered engineers and technicians who are IET members. These members are not IET staff, but volunteers who have been trained for this purpose.
