Engineering Technician (EngTech) professional registration - how to apply.
The application process includes peer assessment by registered engineers and technicians who are IET members. These members are not IET staff, but volunteers who have been trained for this purpose.

In your application for EngTech you will be asked to give basic details such as your name, contact and membership details, your work experience and details of formal education and training.
You will be required to pay a non-refundable application fee. Successful applicants will also be required to pay an Engineering Council entrance fee.
Professional registration fees can be paid in Sterling (GBP £), as well as local payments in China and India.
Alternatively, if you have used Career Manager to compile your evidence, you can complete your application online.
You must nominate one or optionally two supporter(s) to endorse the details of your application.
