RedR teams up with volunteers from Engineers Without Borders UK, Laing O'Rourke and Atkins to hold a practical hands-on weekend.
IET members are invited to RedR's London event aiming to introduce technical professionals to the humanitarian world. Join the group to take part in a high-pressure disaster relief challenge, attempt to build a solar water heater with limited resources, learn from some of the foremost sector experts about emergency shelter in disaster relief, and find out how to get involved further.
The weekend will take place on a farm in the south-east of London, with food provided, as well as space to camp overnight. You'll need to bring your own camping gear and be ready to get stuck in - taking on tough challenges and meeting new people.
