This October saw the culmination of months of hard work by the IET London Network and the Built Environment Technologies technical and professional network (TPN), who jointly hosted a successful event on the engineering behind the Shard.

Working towards a better international understanding and outlook on its industry, the IET Railway Network welcomes two India-based members to the committee.

The IET, together with the Engineering Council, works hard to support and promote the status of engineers, rigorously providing assurance, serving to protect the public and giving confidence to society as a whole.

Contributing to Member News
If you have material you think would be of interest, please contact the editor at membernews.editor@theiet.org. Contributions are invited in two categories:

  • Members in the news – up to 200 words detailing career moves, achievements etc.;
  • Community reports - up to 800 words comprising an event write-up or report from Local Networks, Technical and Professional Networks or other IET community.
