Marking the second phase of the development, recent enhancements to MyIET went live at the beginning of September, providing members with improved selection of areas of interest, user communication preferences and Local Network preferences.
MyIET helps users to manage their IET membership online, enabling them to create their own profile, build networks and set preferences for IET news and communications.
In MyIET Phase 2, members will find a new Interests section, grouping several subject areas under the IET’s five sectors. Members can also select which IET Products and Services they are interested in and a tab for Newsletters allows members to select electronic communications such as E&T subject newsletters, monthly Member News emails, and information about government consultations. Via a separate Communities section, members can join IET Technical & Professional Networks and sign up to hear from one or more Local Networks around the world.
