Another major step toward the IET’s digital publishing goals has been made with the launch of the e-Books service

The IET's new e-Books service offers readers access to more than 300 electronic titles of professional, technical, and research monographs in all areas of engineering and technology, via the new-look IET Digital Library.

Some of the key benefits to the user are the ability to search and download by the chapter as well as full text, making it easier for readers to find exactly what they are looking for. It also makes this content available on-demand, pay per view through to perpetual licence.

The project has launched on time and on budget and is a good time for the IET to be launching e-Books as they are currently experiencing a surge in the marketplace.
