Q: What is an email alias and how does it work?
A: An alias is an address that is linked to your own email account. Incoming messages will be routed onto you from the IET's mail server. Outgoing messages will go direct to the recipient. The main advantage is that when your service provider changes, you only need to notify the IET, and not all your existing contacts.
