Mentor training
The IET’s Mentor Training Course offers participants a grounding in the key mentoring skills. The course can be delivered in-house if six or more people wish to attend, offering significant financial savings and the opportunity to tailor the course content to fit your requirements.
IET mentoring service
The IET provides the following free training and support to all volunteer IET mentors:
Mentoring events
The IET offers mentoring workshops for all volunteer mentors, these events are free of charge and are based around the country.
For these events to run, we try and aim for at least 10 people per workshop.

Mentors' training course
The IET offers a one-day mentor training course. Special rates are offered to volunteer mentors participating in the IET mentoring service, please contact us for details: pdcourses@theiet.org.
