The Foundation is the first of the two Management of Portfolio (MoP) examinations you are required to pass to become a MoP practitioner. You can complete the training in a five-day course or as a three-day foundation course and, at a later stage, a two-day practitioner course.
About the MoP Foundation training course
The Management of Portfolios (MoP) guidance provides a set of processes and principles that control projects, programmes and change initiatives at a strategic level across organisations. Our MoP courses provide detailed explanations of steps required to deliver a successful portfolio of initiatives, including best practice principles required for effective programme management.
This course is targeted at Business Managers, Strategic Planners, Programme Managers, Business Change Managers, Heads of Department and others involved in managing portfolios of change.
To ensure you are prepared fully and get the most out of the course, you will receive a comprehensive pre-course reading pack and aim to do a minimum of eight to ten hours pre-course reading. Delegates should expect to undertake about two hours of revision work and exercises in the evenings.
