MoP Combined

An intense five-day course combining both the foundation and practitioner exams. Delegates can only progress to the practitioner level once the foundation exam has been passed on day three.

About the MoP Combined training course

In addition to offering the MoP foundation and practitioner qualifications individually, there is the option to complete an intense five-day training course which combines both qualifications. This course is targeted at Business Managers, Strategic Planners, Programme Managers, Business Change Managers, Heads of Department and others involved in managing portfolios of change

The first three days will be focused on the MoP foundation qualification and the exam will be taken on the afternoon of day three. You must pass the foundation exam in order to progress to the practitioner level. The final two days of the course are focused on the MoP practitioner qualification and the exam will be taken on the afternoon of the fifth day.

To ensure you are fully prepared and get the most out of the course, you will receive a comprehensive pre-course reading pack and be asked to perform a minimum of eight hours pre-course reading. Delegates should also expect to undertake about two hours of revision work and exercises in the evenings.

Delegates will be provided with refreshments, lunch and appropriate course materials.

MoP Foundation Exam

40 minute, closed book APMG exam with 50 multiple choice questions
50 per cent pass mark (25 correct answers out of the 50 questions)
The exam papers are marked the same day by the trainer. Unsuccessful delegates will be able to re-sit the exam on the same day.

MoP Practitioner Exam

3 hours allowed, open-book exam (MoP guide only)
Objective-testing format
4 questions per paper with 20 marks available per question - all question items will be worth 1 mark, making the total number of marks available per paper 80
40 marks required (out of 80 available) to pass – 50 per cent
