CMI Level 5 Diploma in Management and Leadership for IEng
Available exclusively for IEng professionals, this customised programme has been specifically developed as a result of mapping the Engineering Council’s UK-SPEC standard for IEng registration against the CMI level 5 Diploma in Management and Leadership. The mapping allows IEng registered candidates’ exemption of 50% of the CMI standard Diploma.
IEng Fast Track candidates complete an induction day plus 3 modules instead of the usual 5 modules
The Level 5 qualification in Management and Leadership has been designed for practising middle to senior managers who wish to develop their core management skills and practices. These qualifications focus on the personal development of the individual learner’s management capabilities and competencies
This customised programme allows candidates to develop a range of competencies from operational management principles and practices, the development of resource control, stakeholder and quality needs. The programme also includes a practical work related project allowing candidates to use the skills and knowledge they have gained on the programme, to assist their own organisation in a business critical area.
On successful completion of the programme you will achieve a Level 5 Diploma in Management and Leadership. Included in the course price is your fast track application to become a Chartered Manager
Achieving a qualification in Management and Leadership will not only boost performance, but it will enhance career prospects. It can be used as springboard towards further management development as it is a route through to more advanced qualifications such as the Level 7 Strategic Management and Leadership qualification and the MBA.

Unit 5006 & 5009 :Conducting a Project and Project Development and Control

Understand project Methodologies and their applications;

Unit 5003: Managing Teams and Individual Performance
Be able to identify and agree performance objectives for your team and individuals
Be able to assess performance and provide feedback
Be able to understand performance support for improvement
Be able to apply the organisation’s disciplinary and grievance procedures
