Electrical courses
Electrical topics are arranged into three areas ranging from basic to qualifying engineering status.
Content relating to the Wiring Regulations is now available on a dedicated IET website for the electrical industry.
The IET closed its Electrical Short Courses Unit at the end of 2011.
This section was responsible for training on BS 7671 (17th Edition), inspection & testing, PAT and electrical safety.
The IET is looking at options for future involvement in training and accreditation related to electrical standards – further information will follow in due course.
In the meantime we are not able to advise on alternative training providers.
