IET Humber Network Annual Dinner Dance
The IET Humber Network annual dinner dance has been a popular event for many years. It was originally held at the Angel Hotel, Brigg, and has since been held at the Royal Hotel, Scunthorpe and Wortley Hotel, Scunthorpe but has now recently moved to the Forest Pines Hotel near Brigg.
2007 Humber Dinner Dance
This prestigious black tie event is always a key date in the diary for engineers in the area and continues to gain in popularity. The evening comprises of an evening meal, entertainment from a live band / disco, a raffle which proceeds go to the IET Benevolent Fund and finally the world famous “Lemon Game”.
World Famous Lemon Game 2007
The 2007 event was the first to be held at Forest Pines Hotel, Brigg. The event was organised by the current chairman Paul Walker and proved to be the most popular ever with an attendance of 250+. Many local and national companies continue to support the annual dinner and contribute to it’s success. Companies supporting this years event included:
