Coventry and Warwickshire Network Schools Liaison
The Institution's work with schools was established in 1976 with its aim to create greater understanding and awareness of electrical and manufacturing engineers professions among school pupils, their teachers and parents. Thereby, to attract young people into engineering careers.
The Schools Liaison Officer can provide useful career advice and information and can arrange for practicing engineers to attend schools' careers conventions and functions.
It is now recognised that promotion in schools of engineering is vital to UK industry. The Institution fully supports the work being done by all Engineering Institutions and The Engineering Council. Our Schools liaison officers are:
