The IET jointly with the RTS are presenting an evening lecture entitled “A Vision of the Future - What Television Might be Like in 20 Years time” by Richard Salmon of BBC Research and Development. The technology that might be used, including very high definition and 3-D television, will be discussed and a live demonstration of 1080 x 1920 / 50p TV shown. The event will be of interest to all involved in the television industry or those with a general interest in the technology and how it might develop.

Transport will be available from Newcastle-u-Lyme and Stafford. Free parking is available from 5.45 in the Council House underground car park which is accessed from Margaret Street.
