About this event
With dwindling fossil fuel resources and the threat of global warming, there is a requirement to move transport away from oil-based fuels. Using electricity, or in the longer term hydrogen, as the power source. The potential numbers of electric vehicles on UK roads is predicted to be between 1 and 5 million by 2020. A significant proportion of these vehicles could be provided from the West Midlands manufacturing base and its supply chain.
