Building the world's biggest NGN (Next Generation Network).

Presented by Tim Hubbard - Head of 21CN Solutions Strategy BT.

This event was very well presented with plenty of technical information on the subject.   There were 46 members and guests in attendance.

27 November 2007.

The history of the universe from the big bang to the present.

Presented by Professor Matt Griffin School of Physics and Astronomy, Cardiff University.

This event was extremely well presented with plenty of excellent visual aids.   There were over 80 members and guests in attendance.

4 March 2008

Road pricing & congestion charging.

This event proved to be of great interest to the audience of over 70 members and guests present.

Developments in Nano-technology

This event organised by the Manufacturing & Management Technical Network due to take place at Cardiff University was unfortunately cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances.   This event has now been re-scheduled to take place on Wednesday 26 November 2008.

The South Wales Region Prestige Lecture and Presidential Dinner.

'Connecting the Milford Haven LNG Terminal'

This event was attended by the President of the IET, several local dignitaries and representatives of academia and industry as well as local IET members , wives and guests..    The event was well supported by Cardiff University and S4c and some 75 people sat down to dinner, listen to the harp and  enjoy a very pleasant evening at the Novotel  in Cardiff Bay.
