About the workshop
To appreciate and develop assertive behaviour and how it can be used to manage difficult people and situations.
Audience:
For those wishing to change their own or other people's behaviour.
Topics Covered:
- Differences between assertive, passive and aggressive behaviour
- Recognising behaviour "types".
- Using verbal techniques.
- Questioning skills.
Learning Outcomes:
At the end of the workshop, participants should be able to:
- Develop a Bill of Rights.
- Choose which behaviour to use in situations.
- Demonstrate the techniques of raising, lowering and leveling.
