Technology for an ageing population

This talk is about designing technologies with and for older people. We will present projects about designing technologies for improving the health, wellbeing, or quality of life for an ageing population.

Application of Nanotechnology to Preventative Healthcare
26 April 2012  | Reading, UK
This presentation explores recent research on the use of silicon nanowire biosensors for the diagnosis of disease and shows that these biosensors are able to detect biomolecules in a pin-prick of blood that are an early indicator of disease.
