Buckinghamshire Network younger members
More of our younger members are becoming involved as they see the benefits of meeting others and sharing experiences both at general events and ones arranged by the younger members who are active on the Buckinghamshire Committee.
Find out how to become involved - a little or a lot - by contacting Paul Hogwood.
This is a report of just one of the many events organised by the Buckinghamshire younger members - a visit to the Rebellion Brewery.
"An early summer evening in Marlow with as much as you could drink of the Rebellion Brewery's own beer, a chat and a laugh with fellow engineers, a tour of the brewery, a talk on the brewing techniques and history of brewing, all accompanied by a BBQ - the evening couldn't really have been much better and I think many of us regretted having come by car!
Whoever knew before that evening, that Britain once had approximately 1 pub for every 100 people, or any idea of how horrible original beer must have been?
It was great to see such a good turn out and it has given a clear indication, that we have a basis for arranging further events for Members of all ages in Buckinghamshire."
