All IET members are welcome to the committee meetings. If you would like to gain an impression of the way the committee meetings are run then please see the Berkshire Committee Guidelines. Please contact the chairman if you would like to attend.
Mentoring. We are in the process of getting mentoring coordination off the ground. If you are interested in mentoring someone or being mentored then please let us know.
Cisco / Microsoft Accreditation. If you are doing MCSE or Cisco exams then these could count directly towards you becoming an Incorporated or Chartered Engineer. Committee members from both Microsoft and Cisco are making this a reality.
Publicity. The next issue of our Berkshire Byte is in preparation. Producing such a polished publication takes a lot of work and the whole committee gets involved.
In the Berkshire area we are committed to training our committee members so that they can perform the roles that they have been given in the best possible way. This is done with a series of seminars, which give the committee a chance to discuss how to do things better.
