Young professionals (YP)

 

The Young Professionals activity has been rejuvenated in 2009 with a number of exciting and thought provoking events. 

 

Our philosophy is to target the following groups:

• Students
• Young Professionals
• Anyone who is ‘Young at heart’ and wants to opt in!

 

Having a separate Young Professional committee, we are always looking for enthusiastic volunteers who want to get actively involved.

This means bigger and better events for all!

Educational seminars, industrial visits and professional development workshops are held locally and are a useful way of keeping up to date with the latest technological developments whilst allowing members to work towards continued professional development.

You can find all upcoming YP events in the IET online events calendar on this website; they will normally have “YP:” in front of the events title.
