The Network is keen to take advantage of every means of communication possible, to be able to maintain appropriate contact with its membership. Feel free to subscribe yourself to the mailing list detailed below, to keep yourself up-to-date with the very latest goings on within the region.

Mailing to the list is restricted to members of the Network Committee, so you can be assured that you will not be deluged with 'spam'. To subscribe to the above list, simply click on the e-mail link above, this will prompt your e-mail client to send a message to 'Majordomo' our e-mail list server, with your subscription request. Majordomo is an automated system which allows users to subscribe and unsubscribe to mailing lists, your request will be mailed back to the address from which you post for authentication. Once you reply to this authentication request your e-mail address will be added to the mailing list.

If for some reason you wish to have the mailings go to a different address (a friend's address, a specific other system on which you have an account, or an address which is more correct than the one that automatically appears in the "From:" header on the mail you send), then please create the message yourself, using the following example for guidance;

If you're sending a request from your work account, but wish to receive UK_SWWB mail at your personal account (for example: ANOther@my-isp.co.uk), you'd put the line ‘subscribe UK_SWWB ANother@my-isp.co.uk in the mail message body, and send the mail to majordomo@iee.org.uk.

Please Note: Do not put your commands on the subject line; Majordomo does not process commands in the subject line. You may put multiple Majordomo commands in the same mail message. Put each command on a line by itself. If you use a "signature block" at the end of your mail, Majordomo may mistakenly believe each line of your message is a command; you will then receive spurious error messages. To keep this from happening, either put a line starting with a hyphen ("-") before your signature, or put a line with just the word end on it in the same place. This will stop the Majordomo software from processing your signature as bad commands. Further, Majordomo can not interpret HTML mail messages, please ensure that your mail client is configured to send plain text only to Majordomo.

We look forward to seeing you subscribe on the list and if you have any difficulty, then please do not hesitate to contact owner-uk_swwb@iee.org
