Committee Vacancies

The Gloucester Local Network are looking for new members and a web master to join the committee

Younger Members

The Younger Members committee are looking to recruit enthusiastic young engineers and students that have a thirst for professionalism, and are concerned about the role that the IET provides for its Younger Members.

We see this as an opportunity for students and engineers alike to make the Younger Members Section a worth while activity that will not only help to develop them professionally through the skills learnt through being on the Young Members Committee, but also to be able to network with other engineers and students, especially for the engineering students that shall be looking for jobs once they graduate.

Web Master

The committee are also looking for a web master, main duties will be to:

* Maintain the Local Network web site to ensure all information is current and accurate.
*Ensure the Local Network’s website is populated with a full range of varied information relating to the Network.
*Populate the IET Events calendar with activities organised by the Local Network committee.
*Make full use of the IET online event registration system and to extract information as required.
*Adhere to the IET's data protection policy for volunteers
Full training will be given for this role
