About this event
When our feelings build beyond a certain point we begin to experience stress. If the situation we find troublesome disappears, the feeling of stress goes away. If the pressure does not let up, we eventually show signs of mental and physical exhaustion. There is no set of criteria for when this happens, we all react differently to various stimuli and we are all at risk.
This workshop will help you identify the negative symptoms of stress and learn how to actively manage stress to improve performance.
Topics Covered:
• Symptoms of stress
• Recognising stressful times
• Managing stress - are you A or B?
• Coping with life’s changes
• What we can do?
At the end of the workshop, participants should be able to:
• Identify ways of managing stressful situations
• Recognise the symptoms of stress
• Develop some helpful stress busting exercises
