About The IET Kent Network

Thank you for visiting the Kent pages. We are an active IET Local Network and are always pleased to welcome new members to our meetings. We hold a wide range of events throughout the year and actively encourage public participation at our talks. We have strong links to the local schools, colleges and universities and a very active retired members section who hold daytime and evening meetings with an events schedule which can be found on the retired members page.

If you are just starting out, or are at an early stage of your career, our Kent Young Professionals would love to hear from you. Further details of the KYP activities can be found further down, or by clicking on the link to the left.

We are always pleased to hear from volunteers who are able to give just a few hours of their time each year to help us improve the range of benefits we give to our members. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact one of the committee members by using the Contacts link on the left of this page. If you are unable to volunteer, please come along to one of our meetings. We will be very pleased to see you and your friends.

Kent Young Professionals

The IET Kent young professionals representatives organise events for young professionals in Kent and hope to meet throughout the year at the University of Kent in Canterbury. The group has only just formed and we are looking for volunteers who would like to join us in helping to organise a number of events throughout the year to try to appeal to as broad a spectrum of young professionals as possible. Whatever your level of experience, please get in touch.

NW Kent/SE London Retired Members

We have a strong Retired Members section who meet regularly in Bromley. For further details, please see the Retired Members link on the left of this page.
