About this event
The UK's scientific deep water remotely operated submersible, "Isis", has completed its first two years of successful operations from research ships of opportunity. This talk looks at the engineering and operational challenges that have been encountered to date and explains some of the technology used to offer this exciting service to the scientific community.
Sample video footage captured by the submarine will be used to show its capabilities and demonstrate the wide range of technology utilised by such a vehicle.
