About Hampshire North Network
The Hampshire North Local Network is part of the Southern Region of the IET and provides a service to the whole of North Hampshire from Farnborough and Aldershot in the East to Andover in the West. Events are spread across the main centres of population, generally along the M3/A303.
Links with other professional bodies (e.g. Royal Television Society and Royal Aeronautical Society) and local companies have been established, enhancing the local offerings to IET members. A Young Members section is an aspiration that could be helped with support from young volunteers. Indeed volunteers of any age are most welcome in the network.
The aim of the network is to serve the 2000+ IET members in the area and success depends not only on the hard work of the committee but also on the participation of the members and I would urge you to consider the list of events on this web site and to come to at least one in the year. We welcome any suggestion for visits, lectures or other events from members.
