    Description

    This talk commences with discussing the aviation medicine aspects of impact on the human body. It then continues with the results of experiments on the effect of impact carried out on full size gliders and instrumented human manikins at Farnborough. Many of the test results have now been incorporated in new glider cockpit designs.
