About this Event

Nick Murray of Mouchel will give a lecture entitled “Intelligent Transport Systems”.  The lecture will give an overview of the types of equipment used, focussing on the equipment and infrastructure used to link the roadside equipment and the Traffic Scotland Control Centre to allow monitoring and control of the trunk roads network across Scotland.  The presentation will be geared towards Traffic Scotland’s move to an IP network and the resultant implementation of new, and integration with existing, ITS equipment and infrastructure across the roads network.
