    Grangemouth is Scotland's largest container port and approximately 9 million tonnes of cargo is handled through the dock facilities.

    It has a comprehensive range of control systems and technologies to ensure customers have full confidence in the port's ability to manage any type of cargo. 

    On the visit we will hear about the Port of Grangemouth, its developments and overall developments within Forth Ports business. This will be followed by a tour of the Port by minibus to get an idea of the size and scale of what is done. Attendees should have an adequate level of mobility. 

    It is hoped to arrange a pub lunch in the area before the visit for those interested.
